PIZZA CRUST

1 pkg. yeast
1 T. sugar
1 cup warm water (115 degrees), I just use hot water from tap
1/2 t. salt
2 T. vegetable oil
approx. 3 cups flour, more or less

You can use all purpose flour, or part whole wheat flour, I sometimes use bread flour.

Put yeast in a large bowl with the sugar.
Add the hot water—get mixture wet, but it doesn’t need to be stirred at this point.  Allow to set for 10 minutes.
Add salt, oil, and mix in enough flour to get dough smooth & elastic.
Put ball of dough on a sprayed pizza pan and let sit for 15 minutes.
Roll out dough to fit pan—I use a plastic tumbler. 

Top pizza as desired: shredded mozzarella cheese, turkey pepperoni, peppers & onions, etc.

Bake in a preheated oven at 425, 13-18 minutes.  The more toppings I have loaded on, the longer it takes to bake.
